Toolkits for Enterprise Social Media

Toolkits to foster high adoption and productive collaboration on internal social platforms in enterprises

Meetings on Yammer

Project Brief:

Since the advent of Yammer and the likes, large organisations invest continuously to improve their collaboration practices and streamline their work processes internally through the use of enterprise social technologies. The brief was to design and develop a method to facilitate the meeting process among employees using the social network.

My contribution:

Brainstorming on ideas and concepts, visual design and layouts, product development and realization, vendor management

Meeting 2.0 on Yammer is a toolkit for users of the enterprise version of the Yammer platform. This toolkit provides a set of instructions to individuals who want to manage their regular team meetings in a more efficient and effective fashion by utilising Yammer. It helps an employee understand the entire process and promotes a DIY approach through the activity cards..

Buzz Builder Toolkit

Project Brief:

A toolkit for a large financial institution in Netherlands to help them achieve high adoption and productive utilization of their internal social platform called BUZZ.

My contribution:

Brainstorming on ideas and concepts, visual design and layouts, product development and realization, vendor management

The BUZZ Builder toolkit consists of three sets of cards which help employees to conduct three different tasks or assignments in their course of work. The modules are step-by-step instructional toolkits that explain how to crowdsource using BUZZ, how to reengineer business processes and how to conduct a challenge project using the platform. There are support cards with examples to help the users understand the process better. These toolkits were developed in consultation with the webcare and communications department of the client organisation and were sent across all their global branches to encourage employee activity on Buzz.
